I had an Iomege zip drive that could handle 250 mb disk's...
    I think they had 100MB, 250MB, and 750MD disks.

So you /think/ there was a 250mb drive, even though you actually /had/ one? Uh-huh.

Anyway, yeah, there were 100mb as well; I had one of those, still got a few disks. There was also the Jaz which came in one and two gig versions. They had a few other storage devices over the years, but these were the most popular.

Yep I had mostly 100MB disk's but I did have a couple of 250mb disks as well. Iomega had a manufacturing facility a few miles north of where I live.

Back in the 68K Macintosh days, you'd have geek cred based on how tall
your external SCSI tower was - you had to have a ZIP drive, maybe a Jaz
drive, the Apple CD ROM, maybe an external HD... I hated SCSI conflicts
    - having to swap the order of drives to see if one of them decided to
    terminate the chain...

I had a IIci, external 2GB drive and a DDS tape drive. I wasn't one of
    the cool kids.
